CO Android App bug?

I LOVE the CO android app. It's about the best airline app I've used - great user interface. However, when I check my flight status and click the 'Where is this aircraft coming from?' button at the bottom, it's never worked. It always says 'Continental data services is currently unavailable. Please try again.'

It works fine from the website but not the android app.

Anyone know of a fix for that?

It has to be CO metal for it to show up....and basically mainline. No regional or codeshares on non-CO metal.

Me too... Forever.

That doesn't help at all. It makes no difference whether it's CO metal or not.
And I'm using the iPhone app, not the android one, and it ALWAYS says this. Also, it won't let me view ANY of my reservations---it brings up the same error message that the OP is getting.

Consequently, I'm finding the App more or less useless.... I can get flight status with a quick phone call, so what do I need an app that doesn't work for?

well in my case it does make a difference whether its mainline or not...I only get the error message if the flight is on UA metal or a regional.

I just checked for my flight tomorrow...and I can track both my flights 4 flights prior. I'm on the android app btw. I just gotta say I guess it sucks to be you.

LOL, no it doesn't suck to be me, I have the far superior iPhone. It can do anything your Droid thing does, all while brewing me tea and folding my laundry.

But in any case, Not only does that message pop up when I go to flight status, but also when I log in to view my own existing reservations. Grrrrrr.....

Strange. Mine has ALWAYS said that. I've only ever checked CO RJ's but even re-installing the app hasn't helped. Anyone know where to report it to CO to get a fix?

my Samsung Epic android app runs pretty well.

i have seen the message; I get it message from time to time, but usually it clears itself after 1 or 2 tries.

Go to the Market on your phone and into the Continental app listed in My Apps. Then scroll to the bottom to "Send email to developer"

Or just email [email protected]
