Credit for SA Express flights

Travel Area for Mileage Accrual: All South African Airways-operated flights on ticket for SAA, SA Express and Airlink-operated flights*
I am thinking of flying CPT-Windhoek-JNB on South African Airways. The flights are coded SAA, but the actual flights are SA Express or Airlink. SAA specifically states that SA Express is not *A and so *A baggage allowances don't count. But I cannot parse the sentence about mileage accrual. I know that generally it's the metal that counts, but I simply don't understand the sentence. if the last "operated" were omitted, then I would assume that I wouldn't get credit, but if it's ticketed on Airlink and operated by Airlink, will I get mileage credit?

Thanks. (If I won't get credit, then I'm flying Air Namibia cause they have a more generous carry-on policy.)

I received Continental mileage credit when I flew SA Express during the World Cup last summer...no idea about baggage allowance since I carried on (no way was I checking bags in South Africa)

:td:

I travel within South Africa 4 or 5 times a year and have never had problems with checked baggage within South Africa.

SAX

Baggage allowance...20kg in eco and 15kg more for golf bag. They will not honor any gold card star alliance allowance.

Credit of miles...yes, but when I try to get my miles on Thai, in 90% of the case, it takes me 2-3 months to finally get credited.

Using them on redemption...if it's possible, very very few seats are available, even 9 months ahead.

Does anybody has a customer care email address which actually work for SAX. They cancelled one of my flight, put me on the one 24 hours after. This was on a flight already ticketed. I'm trying to email them, either no reply. The best, the email advised in the inflight magazine is bouncing back.

Wish SAA could take them over.
