[Reuters] An Incident of Rage Between Two FlyerTalk Members?

Haven't seen this posted anywhere as of yet. However, this incident has made it to the press.....Sorry for not posting the 'regular address' I'm currently on my BlackBerry, though the link should still work.

An Incident of Rage Between Two FlyerTalk Members?

"What are the odds of an incident of rage apparently
occurring between two people aboard a Continental
Airlines flight who turn out to both be FlyerTalk
members each of them joined FlyerTalk within
months of each other in 2009 and independently
posting their versions of the story?"

"Be forewarned that the discussions regarding this
particular incident, based on the strong opinions of
the reclining of an airplane seat and common courtesy
for fellow passengers, becomes rather heated in both
FlyerTalk threads."

There's a sucker born every minute. Reuters is filing this as a true story while it's pretty apparent to anyone with a sense of humor and irony that imgonnafly's post is sardonic.

So apparently Reuters is now stealing their content from FT's own blog, The Gate.

Direct your rath at poor journalistic standards their way.

I think we all get that the various "points of view" are indeed fake. I believe we are all shocked that Reuters, a reputable source for news has picked up this as a news story, and published it.

I can't believe the flight attendant didn't receive a mention.

I've been saying that they pump "rage" directly into EWR for years.... they must be pumping it into the aircraft as well now

Seriously though, just getting through the airport to the flight makes people edgy. Long lines, nasty parking shuttle drivers, TSA-holes.... wondering if your underpants have been stolen out of your checked bag. It makes people cranky.

Next thing you know, Twitter quotes will be 'informed' sources.
