Fare Basis and booking a flight
I am new to this so bear with me on this.
I found a fare using Expert Flyer that I want to book. I have a Fare Basis code and a fare bucket availability but I am not sure what step to take next.
A simple search on the CO/UA sites does not turn up this fare so I am not sure if this is even a "real" and available fare.
What is my next step?

What is the origin, destination, dates, and fare basis code you're looking at?

Is there G inventory available on those flights? You need both the fare and the inventory to get the seats at that fare.

There are K&L fares that are even better than that G fare...and require less of an advance purchase (the G fare requires 21 days). However there are no flights on 3/7 that have K, L, or G inventory available.
You can check specific bucket availability on ExpertFlyer as well using the flight availability menu.
