Is there a way to "share" miles with significant other?

My gf and I are trying to get to Paris with miles, she has @90k and I have @28k, enough total for 2 tickets, but can she book half my ticket and me the other half or? What do married couples do in this situation?

What you can do is transfer the extra miles required from your account to her account. There is a fee involved for the transfer.
There is no free way to share the miles (of course, if you had all the miles, you can buy her ticket with your miles without any transfer fees).

Ar you saying she could buy my ticket with her miles? How does she do that?

By calling or by online booking for 2 people including you or separately for her and for you.

If she had the whole 110K she could book both tickets, one in her name and one in yours. As it stands now you do not have sufficient miles in either account to book both awards. The transfer from you to her of 20K miles will cost $300. Details are here.

You cannot book half the award from her account and half from yours.

I'd make sure that you can find the two seats available on the same flight before making the transfer. CO will hold the seats for 3 days to let the transfer complete, assuming you find the seats.

If you have Amex MR points you can transfer them into OnePass very fast. Just link the accounts and then transfer. I've not had problems doing such transfers between people, but m;)st have had the same last name.
