Bonus RDM on codeshare/CO metal?
 

I booked a trip on .bomb as the exact same itinerary was $200 cheaper on UA's web site. Plus I get EQM for purchase price by using my United Select Visa card. Three of the four segments are codeshares operated by CO, and when purchasing I entered my OP Gold for the FF#.

United send two confirmation numbers, one for CO and one for UA. If I look at the itinerary on continental.com it shows the CO flight numbers. If I look at the itinerary on united.com it shows UA flight numbers.

My question is, will I get the 100% RDM elite OP bonus miles for the three flights on CO metal, even though I booked through United and my receipt shows UA flight numbers.

Also, will I have any upgrade issues in this scenario or will the process work as expected?

You will get the RDM bonus on all 4 flights as it applies to UA-operated segments, too.

You will be included in the EUA processing for the CO flights and the UA flight should show "Upgrade: Requested" for the segment on UA metal placing you in the UDU queue as well.

Not CO codeshare on UA Metal, 1000% RDM?
 

How about non-CO-Codeshare on UA? Last time I booked HKG-SIN in UA metal, it shows CO codeshare so I think I luckily got 100% RDM. I am not quite sure if I have the bonus if I just book it on CO.com for non-codeshare UA metal.

In *A the only thing that matters is the operating carrier. If you are flying on UA metal you get a 100% RDM bonus as a CO Platinum. It doesn't matter if the flight has a CO code on it or not.
