Prior to Jetblue's Valentine Day's Massacre in 2007 and the subsequent outcries and regulations, CO had been the last to cancel mainline flights, and would operate or attempt to operate most flights. But since then, they went the other way and cancel ahead, especially for EWR. Still, if you look at monthly completion factor, I believe CO is still way above average.

Unless there is a big change in the predictions or some fairly specific equipment issue I think Thursday night should be back to normal. If the predictions hold I would expect Wednesday night to be pretty normal. Whatever that means for EWR.
thats what im thinking as well.

CO2114 gone. Jan 12, 2011.

I just called in and changed the flight. The bright side of it was to route through ORD and IAH to PBI on Wed, getting me 2500 miles instead of 1200 from the original routing (ROC-EWR-PBI). Actually, I am really amazed that I am even on the upgrade list from small-town ROC to ORD. I guess it's the biggest plane that operates in/out of ROC. It's A320.

You're lucky...I'm in PBI about to be stranded in NYC...going to try and avoid NYC altogether if I can.

Heading back to DCA? I thought UA can get you all the way non-stop PBI-IAD without much problem...?
