FEQM's or Flexible EQM's What are they good for?

I have 2000 Flexible EQM's. I am 1000 EQM's away from Platinum Elite Status. Can I use them to get there? What else are they good for?

I did that last week in lieu of an end of the year mileage run.

The flex elite miles also count toward the lifetime elite total.

Yup - I was 6000 miles short of Platinum this year - have 7000 FEQM. Saves me a lot of time and headache trying to schedule a mileage run.

I tried to buy a car today with mine, but the dealership said the credit card company wouldn't allow it. I said, "no, you just don't want to pay the 3% to Chase".

I bought a car a couple of years ago and asked them if I could put some on my credit card. They said sure but only 5K. Paid the rest with a check.

Engagement ring ---then kitchen flooded and a subsequent rehab --- then boat....then a good chunk of a car.........then a boat refit.....2009 was a big spend year.

Beleive me, it can not continue ad infinitum like the recent past.
