EZE Upgauged to 764

Was booking a flight to EZE in February and it showed 764 both ways. A quick scan of dates reveals that the 764 comes in on January 1 and remains until at least mid-May before it goes back to 762. To my knowledge, this is the first real lengthy upgauge on the EZE route. There has been the occasional 772 Thursday down/Friday return during high season the past couple of years, but nothing like this. This will really help J availability, which is often very tight and/or sold out. I assume the 764 is coming from one of the Europe routes.

Isn’t IAH-FRA getting upgraded to a 772 from a 764 at the same time? That’d explain where they got the a/c from.

I think this could be another route where we may see a UA 3-class 763 move to. The business/first customers are there, as evident of CO placing a 777 on the route in the past.

That would be great....but

That would be great as I'm booked BF IAH-FRA in Jan, but still showing 764 for now.

I do know that it transitions to 772 (IAH-FRA) in mid Feb.

Nice. EZE was packed to the brim when I flew down last week, with NO discount business first seat to be had.

The only thing available was a $10K seat on full fare J.

and it will probably transition back to a 764 when IAH-LOS starts since two 777s will have to be pulled from current service due to 787 delays. Although I would rather see a UA 3class 763 on the IAH-FRA route.

I've been thinking/hoping for the same thing!

I wish CO would just add a second flight to EZE and send it nonstop from EWR, Im not sure how the IAD-EZE loads are, but perhaps they would shift that to EWR and use a 763.

rolov, with regard to your PostLock offer, do we get a discount if we use our Chase CO MasterCard to purchase this exciting new service? Extra EQMs? Anything?
