Internet Content Filtering in IAH PClubs?

Hmmm this is odd. Going to a couple of sites I visit, which are certainly not porn or nude, I'm getting a message that these domains are blocked. They worked fine at an out-station PC today, but not here in IAH at the E club.

CO never implemented content filtering before - is this new? Or is something screwy on my laptop?

Disregard...must be my laptop....same sites are loading fine on my iPhone using the PC wifi.

Definitely not the PClub routers. The systems that they have are not at all set up for that sort of thing.

I'm surprised they don't put an acceptable use policy and user agreement when you logon to the CO WiFi.

As anal as CO can be sometimes about legalese (e.g., making you sign T&Cs annually for logging onto your OnePass account, or hold harmless statements on compensation vouchers), you would think an appropriate use policy of some sort would be on their WiFi routers to gain access.

I had to get my Blackberry's internet unlocked (UK, Orange) so that I could access "adult" material.

The blocked site in question? Flyertalk.
