Finding the LH file key for a booking made on CO.com
 

Hi all,

I made a booking on continental.com that involves LH and UA flights from Germany to the US. I had no problems getting Y+ seating on UA online at time of booking.

To OLCI on LH, though, I'll need the LH file key / booking reference, and the CO one doesn't seem to work (I've tried it on lufthansa.com to pull up my booking). I've talked to two CO phone agents. Both said that they don't to have access to anything but the CO booking reference number.

Could someone advise on how do I find this magic LH file key please?

It doesn't quite get me to a solution to my quandary. I concede, the results of my search could be more a function of my searching skills than the search function's power.

A call to LH with your name, flight number(s) and date(s) will give you the info.

Ah, the option I haven't tried yet. :p

Or just call CO at whatever number you normally call, give them your CO PNR and they can give you the interairline ones. I've also had pretty good luck emailing onepass service center requesting the same.

I have noticed that if I do a check in at LH site, it won't let me get passes for the continuing CO flights, and sometimes I lose my seat assignemnts I made at co.com to whatever seats LH puts me in. so use sparingly. I've just used the LH code to make seat selections, and do airport checkin to keep all seating in order.
