Why was flight delayed?
Wed, 29DEC10 CO1438 ZE ACAPULCO MEX
(ACA) 3:17PM HOUSTON BUSH INTL
(IAH) 5:49PM
This flight departed about 90 minutes late, forcing me to miss my IAH-AUS connection. I got three different answers as to why it was late. It's my understanding that I'm not eligible for compensation if it was delayed by weather, but in other circumstances, I am. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

My guess would be weather in Houston.
I was coming back to IAH from LIM and was 2 hours late leaving because the inbound ship from IAH left late because of the crazy rain that hit Houston in that time frame.

Lots of flights delayed today due to crew rest times. Ripple effect.
