Looks like Delta is going for Y+ on International birds
I think this looks good for preservation of Y+ for UA/CO.
However, only on international fleet types: 75A/75E, 767, A330, 777, 747 |
all Delta does is copying everybody...

Not doubting you, but what makes you say this? I'm just curious where you got your information.

A quick peek into the Delta forum led me to this thread (that I haven't read yet):

Once AF did it, I thought DL wouldn't be far behind. Truth be told, if AF could buy DL they would. And AF even beat DL to award inflation, FlyingBlue means...you'll never get there.

Delta also uses a/c that pioneered the West.
I have nothing against Delta except those old-... DC-9-40s ex-EWR, and the fact that I can't earn *A miles on them :( |
Unsubstantiated rumor pulled from a.net - not exactly a factual source.
If it happens, then I'd say there is a greater likelihood CO will keep E+ on the international aircraft to match Delta - but remove E+ from the domestic ones. |
Not many good things to say about Delta around here! I'm based in DTW so I could've switched over years ago. With this merger and the probable devaluation of the Platinum Status I have been considering jumping over to Delta. It would mean more direct flights (with CO I must fly through IAH or worse, EWR. They stopped the CLE flights I loved) and cheaper fares.
I LOVE CO and HATED NW, so I'm having a crises of faith. I'm going to give CO the benefit of the doubt, use my Plat status for 2011 and THEN see if I should transfer over. Is Delta REALLY that bad? NW was. That's MY opinion- I just hated their 1st Class seats. Time will tell. |
