Earning OnePass elite miles on SQ

I am booking a trip from LAX to SIN. Will I earn OnePass EQMs if I travel on Singapore Air? I am trying to bump up my elite status and will change my trip if I just receive "regular" miles. I would be travelling in Economy, but unsure of the fare class. Thanks for the help!

You will earn EQM if it is in a qualifying fare class. If it's not, then you won't earn EQM or RDM.

May be able to help tell you what the fare class is if you let us know what the fare you're seeing is?

Valid fare classes are here: http://www.continental.com/CMS/en-US...spx?ItemId=304

I can't find a fare class on the SQ website. I would travel on 11/17-11/28 from LAX to DPS-approx. $1750

I see a "Flexi-Saver" for $1388 that will earn you miles.

When you are choosing the SQ flights, look at the bottom, it will say "Fare Basis". Click on that. A new window will pop up. In that you will see the fare basis (its the first alphabet of that fare basis soup). Tell us what is that first letter.

Oops. That the "flexi-saver" price of $1388 was actually what I was looking at. Do you know what the fare class is?

Just a guess, but I think it might mean "H" fare which would earn 100% - the cheapest would be "Q" (no miles) and the full Flex would "E" (100%). Just a guess, I'd give SQ a quick call. Not a bad fare, btw!

As SBM12 pointed out, the H or E fares will earn 100% Elite miles and redeemable miles (regular miles as you called it!). The only thing you dont get with SQ is the bonus miles based on Elite Status.

Well, at least you get the full 100% elite miles for this fare!
