SaverPass Availability

I'm looking to travel to Europe for vacation next July. Just out of curiosity I looked for award travel availability, and I saw that for the most part, on Continental flights only EasyPass was available. Does that indicate that it's just too early to look or that the availability is that sparse?

Sparse, I'd suggest calling CO and asking for partner availability on UA/CO/LH/OS/SK whoever...

CO doesn't usually release standard reward seats that far out. As usa18dca said, you should try to confirm seats on a partner, even if it's not your preferred times, etc. Once you're able to confirm seats, call CO and waitlist the flights you do want. When CO releases the inventory, you'll clear automagically.

Yeah, then

I'd better get on top of that if I want a free flight. I guess that's the economy right now...

What exactly do you mean by confirming seats? I'm in the same boat but actually looking for travel in Late April and there is availability already, however I am waiting for some promo points to post which will be 6-10 weeks and I'm afraid of flights not being available by then.

It means book on a partner, such as LH/AC/UA/SQ/US/TP/LO/SK/OS to Europe now, instead of waiting for Continental to release seats.

Between all those airlines, there is only a very slim chance nothing will be available, a few days wont make a difference.
