Broke up with Girlfriend...

And was supposed to travel to CZM in Nov on CO so cancelled ticket and have 600$ credit to use for another flight.

Can I book a refundable ticket then cancel again and get the $ back?

I love her and am back together with her and want to fly her to me for a weekend, but CO doesn't fly to STX. Well they codeshare with Cape Fear which is a dangerous option. Anyother thoughts? She lives in TUL. Thanks.

Not exactly, but you're free to formulate your own opinion.

If CapeAir does not work for you, I would recommend using American Eagle instead on the SJU-STX segments.

Unsurprisingly, the airlines have thought about this too. Any funds from a non-refundable ticket used to to buy a refundable ticket remain non-refundable.

Well the saying is once off Cape Fear...why bother going back to the island =)

Why is Cape Air a dangerous option? They are a reliable operation down in STT/STX/SJU

They are a reliable operation.

They are a well run service with seasoned pilots

& reliable well maintained equipment

I have been allowed to ride the right seat up front

on most of my many trips with them as CO Connection

A surprise was that both sets of controls were live

I have sat in the co-pilot seat as well...not on STX-SJU but STX-STT on a seaplane which lands in Redhook. Quite a scary flight which I take about 3 times a week. The CapeFear flight always seems more dangerous. May e it's the large windows? I am just a 2 pilot man I guess.

I guess I will jet book a flight to SJU then use the voucher to get to EWR/IAH then meet her in CZM. Funny on CO site today and they don't book fares online from IAH-CZM??

I safely stop and start peoples hearts for cardiac surgery as my job requires. I gladly pay for pilots to fly me from point A to point B. Do not want that gig...have enough stress as is.

But I am limited to AA STX-SJU or Seaborne STX-STT/SJU And connect to DL. UG is 100% on DL from SJU-ATL/JFK. Cape flies me to SJU as well but have to clear customs in SJU. Huge Pain in/azz @SJU.

As an anesthesiologist or what

Had a CABG 5 almost 4 years ago

Long long ago I was doing weekly STT - SJU on PIAT

(Pan Island Air Tours) for 6 to 8 weeks each spring

from about 67 to 74 while working in San Juan

What a great time I had as technical director of

the major Puerto Rican circus "Circo Panamericano"

(I was only kidding about the license)

Better. Perfusionist, after you are on the heart-lung machine, the "gasser" goes to breakfast and reads the paper till we are done and needs to turn on the windbags.

Glad you had a successful CABG!

Must have had a damn good surgeon and perfusioist!

I did that on one of their island flights too. I found out that both sets of controls were live because the pilot casually mentioned that I'd need to take my foot off a pedal before we could take off. ^

I've flown Cape Air a bunch for trips into Tortola and Vieques. Get the saturday winter direct CLE-SJU and it makes for a much easier flying day than other options :)

I actually quite like it.

ooh--and thanks for perfusioning (i just coined that word, I think). Too stressful for me too.
