Sure it's the same number of miles, but I'm not sure that fully measures the economic "price". Direct versus a connection clearly has a cost. Chance of IRROPS has a cost. And of course, sheer shame of being on US has a cost, at least it would to me. YMMV.

I agree re connection but not enough to slum it in Y unless my schedule was tight. I'd book the US in F at saver and waitlist the CO nonstop in F. Decent chance of getting everything you want without spending extra.
