Best friend went to Harvard for grad school and still works in biotech in the area, so I always have airport transportation squared away.

I just enabled the new SSL log-in on my book account. In doing so, I realized my account had someone log into it last night that was not me. Fortunately nothing harmful appears to have been done. I'm now in the process of changing passwords everywhere. My old password was strong and secure, but if someone managed to get it and figure out where else I go online, they'd have access to me on a variety of other sites.

Service, reliability, and so forth. Need to go from MAD to PAR and the timing works better than AF or IB. A search of FT mostly yields complaints that miles don't post promptly to SkyPesos.

Richard Branson, discussing his new Virgin Hotels concept at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit:

After being escorted on stage by four Virgin flight attendants (he did have a recent skiing accident), he wasted no time taking a shot at Marriott saying his hotels will be fun and there will be no frustrations. “If you want breakfast at 3 a.m. you should be able to get it, and you won’t be banned from watching sexy films. We will have great quality sexy films.” The overflow luncheon crowd howled. In fact, the publicity surrounding the news that Marriott will be pulling porn from its in-room entertainment systems had people smirking throughout the conference.
