BF class O on CM?

I just booked a flight with 2 segments using CO and CM. On my CO segment I am getting a L fare class but for my CM segment I am getting a fare class "O" as First (which it's BF for CM). I have never heard of such a fare class. I looked up on CO.com and they consider this fare class a full discounted economy if I were to use CO metal. Does anyone know what type of EQM will I get for this fare class? Thanks!

CM does not have BusinessFirst, only First.

O is discount coach 100% EQM. (actually looks 100% only if booked on their site) 50% EQM.

So I am getting 50% EQM for flying on a fare class on First? That's what it is strange to me. My ticket shows First Class - Fare Class "O". It does not say Coach.

I have no clue what you have then, on CMs own info O is Y class.

I looked my webcheckin doc and it doesn't even show the fareclass on it, maybe you got an EUA if you are CO elite?

Are you seeing this "First Class - Fare class O" on CO.com? If so, then it's most likely just a bug on the website.

To go back to basics - what do you think you have bought? Did you buy a first class fare? According to this page COPA O class is an economy fare class.

If the only place you're seeing this "first class" thing is CO.com when viewing the itinerary, then it's a mistake and you are in economy.

I've had a couple of these problems when checking a mixed CM/CO reservation on CO's website. I think I began noticing when CO changed their bucket codes last year and CM did not necisarily follow allong.

To be safe I always call CM to be sure I am up front on that segment, and without fail I was.

O is an economy fare on CM. O is the Plat Elite BF Reward code.

But if you are viewing it on CO.com, CO.com only knows to look up its own codes, so it will display as BF on the website - but you really have O code of travel on CM. I am not sure if this is really a bug, since CO only translates its own codes.

Same has been true with other airlines as well on and how they show on CO.com. U on QF is reward Business, but it shows as coach - since U is coach on CO.

Yes, it is. If it were working correctly it would show the actual class of service for the segment, not what it would be if it were on CO metal when their systems know that it is not.

As for the earning, there are no more 50% EQM fares on Copa or CO. There haven't been since October 25, 2009. The O fare will be in coach and will earn 100% EQMs, 100% RDMs and 1 EQP.

So it ended up being a bug on co.com. I got economy fare class "O" which gets me 100% EQM. Thank you all for your help!
