What's a 1K doing calling the ICC? You should be calling the 1K desk for this and getting USA-based agents.

You've had a very good track record. CO does seem to have fewer mechanicals, but when you do get messed up, god help you.

I fly a lot to/from delay-prone locations, and while I have suffered a higher rate of IRROPS on UA than on CO, the IRROPS have been far less painful on UA, as UA follows Star Alliance rebooking guidelines and/or works with me to get me moving in the right direction. I gave CO many chances at this, and unfortunately, I cannot say the same for them.

CO's personell are also well trained, and generally follow established procedures/the manual. If fly CO enough, you start to notice all the consistencies.
There are several documented cases on FT of CO personnel not following Star Alliance rebooking guidelines.

Onepass used to be sleazypass - but at the end of the day, if I want to use an award, I want to travel at the time & place that is most convenient to me. If CO/UA can't do it and a partner can, why not?. Is this not the promise of Star Alliance?
I agree with this notion, though that's unfortunately not UA's position on the matter. They believe they have the right to manage the partner availability as they see fit, which can be highly annoying. That said, I've seldom been blocked by UA, as most available partner flights are indeed available for redemption.

My wife and I wanted to go on a special trip for our 10 year anniversary. We decided to go RTW and focus on 3 cities in Asia, and then a few days in London. Since we are: both UA 1Ks; I am CO PLAT and She is CO Silver and between the both of us we have over 2.5 million redeemable miles between the 2 airlines, we will be doing int in FIRST, with hopes of riding the SQ A380 SUITES in one of the legs.

Just FYI, SQ doesn't allow the suites to be paid for with miles so you'd have to cough up the cash to ride in them.

Added one more benefit.

Select the text, click the little globe+chain link icon and then paste the link text into the box that pops up.

In the box where you are typing in the reply, assuming you're using the "advanced" dialog. If not you'd have to manually format it which is a bit more difficult. It looks like this:

Display Text Here.

Found it, thanks.

Another one added.

On the CO side, I'm surprised we haven't added mix/match of awards (Standard/Saver or First/Coach) for pro-rated mileage amounts.

On the wishlist side, we should probably add threshold bonuses (e.g., Elite Choice), CR1s, car/hotel rewards for all members, and ability to pay for club membership with miles.

Thanks. I saw that partner EasyPass was added. Is that still current? I know we had that on NW and KL, but I can't think of any current partner with EasyPass access for CO. Am I missing someone?

I see it for UA and US flights.

Or is it only when there are saver seats?

It's only supposed to be Saver on other carriers. If they're showing it it's either 1) incorrectly pricing Saver as EasyPass; or 2) partner Saver space in conjunction with an EasyPass segment on CO (e.g., CLE-ORD EasyPass Y connecting to ORD-FRA UA Saver Y will price the whole direction in EasyPass Y).

I've seen co.com do both. You gotta be careful so you don't get overcharged.
