iPhone App for Mobile Boarding Passes -- Updated

Hi,

If any of you tried Airside Express for CO mobile boarding passes on your iPhone and had problems with it, Adam and I have put an updated version out today -- still free -- that works much more reliably.

The idea is to make it easier to do mobile check-in and instantly display the mobile boarding pass with one-touch at TSA and the gate (no screen shot required).

It's free on the iPhone App Store under "Airside Express"

Definitely would appreciate feedback -- positive or negative.

Thanks,
-Hans (aka Worldwide Viking)

Thank you for advising as I've had issues in trying to keep the barcode page ready to display for TSA and/or boarding, including an iPad test a few days ago.

FWIW - it seems that CO now sets the size of the barcode (at least in iPhone and iPad browsers) without allowing adjustment, which helps with readability.

TVMAN-

They've done a very nice job updating the MBP, I think.

With "Airside Express", we try to make it even easier by putting the flight, gate and seat assignment on the status page. Let me know what you think.

Some issues with Airside Express

I should start off by saying that I think Airside is a great idea and can only get better. Since you're asking, I was noticing a few glitches on the version I'm running.

Whenever an error occurs of any nature, the program doesn't allow me to click "ok" and just freezes or closes completely. This may be due to the fact that I generally fly out of a MBP-less airport and continental doesn't provide a MBP until I am on my way back home on a MBP "approved" flight plan.

Although I have yet to use the express check in update yet, I was noticing that I've lost the ability to check my upcoming reservations and/or upgrade status via the program. (this was convenient because I didn't need to enter in my OP# or my password) So it would be nice if alerts, reservations, EUA status, gate and departure info, etc. were integrated in the program so all of my "pertinent flight info" was in one place.

Just some thoughts. The program has a lot of potential, but I'm more so jealous that I don't get to use it that often.

(Bring MBP to BHM!!!)
