I was on IAH - GIG last week and asked the BF concierge how much would a buy up to BF cost. He priced it out at over 4k :eek:

He even said how expensive it was and that they get last minute oil and gas ppl to buy those tickets, and that's how they make money.

I am doing an analysis of upgrades, selfish one totally as it's the routes I fly. I think I'd like to know better if rarity of upgrades is my imagination as has been suggested here, and by CO management, or there's some fact behind it.
