Just a friendly heads up for anyone traveling to or from ANC, CO will be moving to gate B5, in the just-opened B concourse in the South Terminal, effective November 10. Enjoy!

How is the new B concourse? Does it have airside access to the others?

Airside to C... the TSA actually moved a bit so its between the B and C concourses... but when I was there Sunday after their opening ceremony it was closed  but looks nice from news reports.

Here's an article on it... and for a visual, watch the included video...

If you've been on the C concourse it appears to pretty much mimic that. It should be nice, and a big upgrade over the N gates that CO currently uses here.

Not to mention convenient access to the AS BR in C

Yes they do!

CO PC members have access to ANC & PDX AS BR's... (and 2 guests)

AS BR members have access to EWR, DEN & LAS PC's... (and 2 guests)

So there is some agreement still!

Good to hear....the old gates at ANC were wretched, and kind of sad as it represented a once robust int'l schedule that has now gone bye-bye at ANC...

Only because it was a good refueling point. It's not as if that market commanded such robustness in international pax.

Went down the B concourse today- its nice and open... but lacks any type of food offerings except Hudson News at the end  but rest assured, there are several good options in next-door C concourse...

Nice and open with some 'interesting' art pieces...

Good news indeed (I'd still get in by way of my SkyClub membership, but it's nice to see that my soon-to-be President's Club membership has some additional value :)).
