IAH-MAD?!
If anyone heard anything about this new route?
|
no, but i sure hope it becomes a reality!
|
Well, MAD is a SpanAir hub, so it could make sense as a feeder.
|
Someday?
At every DO I've attended, I've raised the question to Larry & Jeff about when we'll see IAH/MAD non-stop flights. For years they have flight 62 shown as a direct flight, but there always has been a change of aircraft at EWR.
Their replies have been very positive about "future" service, but we all know that CO just doesn't have any widebodies to spare. If the 787's had been delivered as originally scheduled, CO would have been able to start more non stop service to europe out of IAH. I noticed that this year AA did start flying from their Dallas hub to Madrid using a 767. |

edited to add: Actually , looking at the Star Alliance website it appears that JK still operates around 670 weekly movements at MAD which is not a lot fewer than they do at BCN ( around 700 weekly movements ) |
Would be nice. Either that or IAH-BCN would work for me.
|
If we could just get them to change terminals in MAD then that would be impressive.
