Is it just SAN-EWR or system wide? M-class just moved from $570 to $1015 and is not even available on some non-stops anymore.

I haven't seen a change in M fares on any of the routes I'm flying. Wishing I was still Plat...

Yikes...looks like many of the the west-coast "M" fares just jumped. Bummer. At least now I don't feel so persecuted...:p |
Woah!
LAX-AUS was $750 (still higher than normal) yesterday...but shot up to $1,886 for M fare :td: But what's even better is that a Z fare is only $1,540 on the same flight! |
I've never seen a single M fare that was better than a B fare...
B fares for PVD-SFO are around $400 each way....and the M fare is double, I think. So, I never thought much of the M fare thing. |

I am beginning to think this may be an uninteded change - I have seen this happen before as a knock on effect of other changes. Guess we will find out in a couple of days.

Here is a good one for you.
I was booking a flight ATL to LAX. I didn't specify class and 2 of my segments showed M fare on flights that have 1st class, other 2 segments were on RJ's. The "platinum upgrade" wasn't there. So, I did a new search and specified M and WOW did the price go up. So, I built a multi stop schedule, M's showed up again, still no upgrade message. So I then put the 2 legs that had 737's as 1st, and the other two segments as economy. The price was the same as the all economy booking where I didn't ask for the M's. Nice! So, I got 2 segments at 150% elite bonus as well as the front of the bus and of course it all with double EQM's. :D |

Normally if the upgrade message isn't there, the flights aren't upgradeable (M and B upgrades are capacity controlled). Do you have seat assignments in FC?
When I requested M the price jumped way up and the upgrade option was available. Sorry if I didn't say that. |
Still no change
SAN, SFK and LAX holding at $1000 +
but SEA and LAS still at $580 go figure |
M class IAH-PDX is $498 this morning.
