Thank you all very much for the kind and funny comments! It was a fine day up here and I had a great time. I did a lot of eating due to co-workers paying my tabs and I took advantage of the nice weather by doing a workout to burn off those birthday calories. The only thing that could have topped it would have been a flight to someplace but that will have to wait until Labour Day.

FortFun, as I said in my PM to you, thanks a bunch for making your 1st start-up thread about my birthday! I guess taking you to the world's largest mall (yup, it's in YEG, everyone!), buying a round of beer and golf, and getting to sit beside an inebriated Newfoundland cutie back in March was well worth my effort :D

Cellphone, it's always fun to see you in chat and I hope that our paths will cross again in ORD in the near future, especially if there is a FighterHawk 2 DO ;)

Dhammer, another of my chat amigos whom I really hope to meet sooner rather than later. I only hear great things about the BRT legend and thanks for the kind words!

DG and Mini DG, I really hope to see you both in October when you are in Anaheim where we can discuss exciting things like the Head of the Commonwealth ad nauseum lol. DG, since we are both Augustans, that makes us both Leos which gives us the following traits: "Having powerful intelligence and of a broad philosophical turn of mind." The way we should interpret this is that nobody will ever prove us wrong, no matter how good their debating skills may be :D

TCook, always a great pleasure to see you at our YEG dinners and I love listening to your stories from a travel agent's perspecitve. Hmm, it may be time to do another "Celebrate the End of Summer" DO that we had last year :)

Benny, even though your Ravens did knock out my Fins last year, I hold no hard feelings. Luckily for you, we don't play each other this year so there's no chance of Jason Taylor and Jerry Porter making a mockery of your weak offensive line :P

MRP Alert, whenever I hit LAS, you will never have to pay for a Double-Double combo :) -- umm, one caveat, if I've been taken to the cleaners by the casino (as per usual), then all bets are off :D I can't wait to pick you up in YYC in September. We'll make it a fun couple of hours in Cowtown (Cowtown is the nickname of Calgary). Who says birthdays can't be educational lol

Mileage Addict, I don't know how you knew I am a huge Oilers fan or where you found the time to bake all those cupcakes for me but thanks a lot lol! Are you an Oilers' fan by chance? Here's hoping that those cupcakes represent future Stanley Cups!

LAS, it was a pleasure meeting you in Vegas but ever since I left your vehicle I haven't been able to get a darn word out of my head. It's like I keep on hearing an echo -- Bellagio, BellagiO, BELLAGIO :D

Rejuvinated, thanks for the B-day wishes and I would like to wish you many smooth and fun MR's in the future!!!

And an FYI, Usain Bolt and Hayden Panettiere were also born on August 21. I'd love to celebrate with each of them, for totally different reasons of course :D
