"Atlanta is for the Birds" Meet?
 

On Dec 6, the Falcons will host the Eagles. I understand that there are still plenty of tickets available for this game.

Do we have an ATL member who would be interested in arranging a Meet for that day? It can be held either at the stadium (preferable) or a sports bar where we can watch the game.

(You can also have the additional pleasure of seeing me, dressed in my Eagles sweatshirt and hat, getting pummeled by the crowd.)

Well, certainly the Falcons wont be pummelling the Eagles... so you could be a good substitute... :)

Although the game and going to Waffle House are of little or no interest to me, what exactly do you have in mind in terms of arranging a Meet, other than this thread?

Of course, I would like to see you when you are in town...

We would need someone in Atlanta who could contact the Falcons and get ticket prices on a group basis. (I understand that they go on sale on Aug 1.) He would also have to set up a dinner for us somewhere (preferably a ribs joint similar to Lucille's Bad to the Bone where we have been holding the FLL-PBI Meets).

I would be happy to work with him on the dinner requirements (separate room or patio, individual checks, etc).

Personally, I think ATL would be the idea spot for such a Meet. Not only are NFL prices there lower than in most other cities, but as a major hub it is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world.
