10K posts in 10 years... in retrospect

With this post... I will cross the 10K Post count threshold, doing it in just over 10 years.

This is NO April Fools Joke (I had hoped to do my 10K post on May 4, the
11th anniversary of Joining Flyertalk but I'm early.

I hope in ten years posts that I have contributed something to this community. I tried to avoid just posting smiley faces and other stuff and put some steak into what I write and respond to.

Guess this makes me an evangelist. But I'm not into the title stuff. I would rather just be Catman (although I appreciate that you let "Commander Catcop" live on in my threads. He appreciates it too!

If I have to "preach" like an evangelist I would say that everyone has somethign to contribute to this board and if you show them a little respect and support you never know what good things you'll get.

I don't travel as much as yall - really tough when you are running your own business (and today marks the sixth anniversary of when I launched the Cats MEOW Services. )

Thanks Randy and company for letting a Cat haired Jerzee guy with a love of travel and meeting people who spells the "teh" give somethign to this board.

In over a decade:

*I've met a lot of Flyertalkers (I don't even want to know how many) and look forward to meeting more like Dovster and MikeMpls at June's Soup DO.

*Many have become acquaintances... a few I consider good friends.

*One FT-er I call my BIG BRUDDAR and one of the bestest friends anyone could have!

*If anyone told me that I would meet nice people on the Internet and organize Dos and see so many places and do so many things a decade ago I would have said they were crazy.

Thanks for the support folks and I look forward to giving more to this community in the years to come.

See yall soon (and some of yall at the SIXTH Soup DO... June 12 in NYC!)
