From your former fellow UA co-Mod:

I am sure that you can make some friends while there.

I have no doubt. Love these things. Super mad I couldn't swing the recent CO DO. This sounds like a great way to pay myself back for that

We are working with Lufthansa who have contracts with several hotels by FRA, so stay tuned!

I'm definitely interested, and hopefully will be able to work it out with my schedule. The e-mail has been sent!

Should we be booking LH403 now? Or should we wait?

I believe LH are going to give a special rate on LH403 and the return to US city of your choice. If you want to book with miles though, I'd assume you just book LH403 as you would normally.

I'm sure tommy777 will clarify, but that's how it was in my head (which is often completely wrong )

I used miles to book to book the TATL legs. I would wait for the special deals if you are paying in $$$

That's good to know! ^^^

I don't understand Norwegian but had a look at another forum and wondered if some hotel deals were being discussed.
