Anybody in LAX, Friday 2/6?
I will have about 9 hours to kill in LAX on Friday, February 6th.
Arriving 1pm and departing 10:30pm.... anybody up for a double double, and strawberry/chocolate shake at In-n-Out? --Russ |
I will be at LAX around 7:30p on Friday for my 8:20p flight to SFO. If you can find a way into T7, I can guest you into the RCC.

I won't have my cell phone with me so we'll need to coordinate somehow. thanks! |

If you still want to go for that double double, please let me know. I haven't had one in a while and now I'm thinking about it.
I work down the street in El Segundo. I am off at 6p and can meet you there. Let me know if I should look for you. And, I can drop you off at T7 to meet up with MatthewLAX after. |
that would work!

I had a schedule change and will not be arriving at the airport till about 9:15p. I would still be happy to guest you into the RCC, but I know that may cut it close if you are flying VX.
Send me a PM if you would like further details. maybe next time! --Russ |

JerseyVics, you've got a lot of time even if you meet other folk. Take a hotel shuttle to one of the airport hotels, and then take the free "Ocean Express" shuttle to Manhattan Beach. It goes from LAX hotels to downtown Manhattan Beach/the pier, and then back to the hotel properties, where you can catch a hotel shuttle back to LAX. Beats staying at the airport. Also beats In-n-Out ;) , but still gets you back in time if you're doing that.
Cheers. |
Seem like Russ is a popular guy :)
Have a good trip. |

Cheers. I wonder how long before the flight I could check in my bag with Qantas? (I'll need to look it up) That wouldn't be a bad idea... I stayed at the Radisson a few months ago and used their free LAX shuttle... although I did get a really ugly vibe off of one of the Hertz shuttle drivers when I decided to use that service to get to the local Post Office... she nearly demanded to see my car rental reservation which I didn't have. Tom911... I'll send you a PM. MatthewLAX... thanks for the wishes, I'm doing something completely crazy and I really hope it works out. --Russ |

If you're flying out of the AA terminal, I'll be in the Flagship Lounge there from about 5:30-6:30pm between flights if all goes as planned. ....
The Qantas Sydney flight departs from TBIT and the OP would need to get past Security - TSA might miss the QF12 flight number though; just seeing the Qantas BP for 2/6 and permitting entry. Once in it would be a breeze; in the evening there's a bus every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour to take you from T4 to TBIT, so no need to reclear security. Qantas check-in opens at 2pm for both T4 and TBIT. |

Unless the OP is arriving into T4 and can hang around all day, it may be problematic to get airside at T4.
