Ok, we're a definite. baglady is in town this weekend & we were going to go to the Manhattan Beach holiday fireworks on Sunday & then dinner, but we're going to blow off the fireworks for Captain Denny. He's about the only one I'd give up the firworks for, as they're quite fun w/ the holiday music going & everyone coming down to MB to see them. Cheers.

Sunday night was going to be my first free night of "downtime" at home since before Thanksgiving.

I guess that next Sunday night will be my first free night of "downtime" at home since before Thanksgiving.

Put me down as a "yes," but I'll probably cut out a bit early (after leaving enough money to cover my share ).

You can confirm my brother and me.

Also, please let Capt Flanagan know that I will be flying to LAX on his plane if UA will allow me to standby in ORD (I'll shoot you a PM). ^

I'll bring my digital camera to record the Captain Flanagan LAX Do

Since I was wrapping my FT Secret Santa recipient's gifts last night, a thought popped into my head. Do we want to get CF a gift cert to a Starbucks or something? I can also bring a holiday card for us to sign. If yes, what amount? We could chip in a few $ each (or none for those who prefer not to). This is obviously not a requirement of attending the dinner, but like I said while visions of FT sugar plums were dancing through my head last night while wrapping SS gifts the thought occurred to me, so thought I'd put it out there for input.

Cheers.

I wish I read this thread earlier. If I had a way to get Mo off I would do this & SS255 would have a house guest & a pick up at LAX

Although mr. & mrs. delacpa are definitely AA - people ........

PLEASE consider this our 'official' affirmative response: we will be there !!

Couldn't pass up the chance to get together with so many FT folk at a location so close to us, at such a great time of the year, with such a special guest

Until tomorrow evening.........

Captain Flanagan suggested meeting at the bar at 6PM for drinks, since the bar overlooks the aircraft museum. I've updated the OP to reflect that.

Great re: 6pm.

I'll bring along a holiday card for us all to sign for CF. Will also get a SBuck gift card for $25 (I'll pay any dif that isn't collected), or do we want a dif amount (higher or lower)?

Cheers.
