Time to Own a Piece of FlyerTalk?

Currently, the stock price of Internet Brands, Incorporated — the company that owns FlyerTalk — is near a 52-week low at US$4.92 per share.

The ticker symbol of Internet Brands is INET.

If you have always wanted to own a piece of FlyerTalk — as well as a plethora of other Internet web sites — and perhaps even earn a little extra money, now could be your chance to do so.

As a senior moderator, are you privy to any insider trading info? If so, please violate SEC rules and PM it to me. :)

I bought it at $7.06 a share several months ago when I then thought it was a good deal then. Of course all hell broke loose since then but what can I say.....

I might just dollar cost average and buy several hundred more shares. I'm bullish on IB and on the future of the Internet as a profitable operation for those best positioned.

In the last year insiders have purchased 4,000 shares... to me that's not a great sign of confidence.

That said, I bought in earlier this year and needless to say I'm underwater.

Including FlyerTalk, I think IB has a great collection of assets that are far from being fully utilized, let alone reaching cost efficiencies of putting them all on the same platform.

As unpopular as recent moves like OMNI access are, they are good for generating clicks, which sells advertising. Hopefully IB can continue to drive traffic and CPM increases in the tough economy. If you think so, now may be a good time to buy.

Isn't every stock at a 52 week low?

Actually, even a tiny purchase is a somewhat bigger sign than you might think, since SEC short-swing rules would then prohibit the individuals doing the purchasing from doing any sell transaction for 6 months from the date of the last purchase.
