Wow. Suppose you were being paid minimum wage, ~$6/hour. Also suppose that each post takes ~1 min (an overestimate for the heavy posters, I realize), then each post costs approximately $.10. So, the folks at the top of this list are already $150 in, supposing they're flipping burgers.

Now, on the other hand, suppose one has a professional job making closer to $60/hour. Then the folks at the top of the list have almost paid for their ticket. Finally, assume you're billing consulting rates, say $300/hour. Then you're way over paying

I'm simply going to say that I would welcome the opportunity to visit family in AMS around the holidays, and admit that my expected value for any further posts in this thread would decrease exponentially.

But if we can do this while also getting paid for doing our real job then we come out way ahead, right??
