Zürich Stammtisch / Zurich regular table
 

Every now and then, a few local Zurich FTers and any guests who are in town get together for a casual "stammtisch". Just 10, 15 min. from the airport, with trains running every couple of minutes. The standard itinerary that proves popular with the crowds is

7pm - Meet underneath the blue angel, Zurich main station
7-8pm - Beers at Brasserie Federale, Zurich main station
8pm - Italian dinner at a italian restaurant, 15min walk from the main station

Chrissxb will be in Zurich on October 28th.
If you have time, why do we not meet in Zurich and do something together?

I added the 28th in Doodle, so you can easily add your attendance.

Personally, I have Spanish at wbk Dübendorf and will therefore join afterwards.

Commihalle
 

Last time, we went to Commihalle.
Service was as good or even better than last time. Food (same as usual) was as usual.
Personally, I prefer Commihalle. They did not complain when we were 5 instead of the booked 9. As you all know, we can not predict if we will be able to show up at the Stammtisch.

I was lucky to have missed the 'failed' Commihalle one-time service happening. All other times the meeting there was ok for me - and I notice that some FlyerTalkers might want not to spend what we would have to pay at more upscale places.

For FT-meetings (as long as Gisela is not accompanying me ...) I put FT-company (and affordabilty of the place for all potential participants) as my first priority, and Restaurant service (as long as not unacceptable failing) only second.

Have you any plans yet for Tuesday in two weeks?

no plans so far. looking for a nice, not so expenisve place for dinner with good company. I will be in Klothen but can travel by train.

Unfortunately I won't be able to join on 28/OCT. :(

Sorry, I can't make it on Oct 28. But November looks pretty good so far.
