I can't begin to thank you all for this thread----especially Jenbel who so thoughtfully started it. She met Stan and they took to each other straight away.
He was the nicest person I ever met and so many people have said the same. He was held in such high esteem and I just heard an announcement on Gaelic radio stating that his funeral will be held tomorrow and details were given out. This upset me so I decided to come online and saw this thread. Tears again!
I'm trying not to be too upset as I know that I was so lucky, not just to have known him, but to have shared my life with him.
I'd like to thank you all, and the many who sent PMs to me and the lovely cards of sympathy I received.
