Our poor starving student has just made his 5,000th post ^^^^^^

Your postings are well done and I look forward to many more.

Now you just have to find 4525 other FTers that you can post the samething about and you too will be in that Club.

Although usually JEs post do have some substance to them

Although I must admit, very little of what I post here I figure out on my own. Rather I've been lucky enough to have learned from other FT'ers far more knowledgeable than myself - and only on account of their kindness and insight - have I been able to contribute anything back.

Plus the CO forum rocks. :cool:

We've got two great moderators (thanks to xyzzy & MBM3), a relationship with an airline that not only takes the time to listen to us, but actually interacts with us (thanks to cigarman, CO Insider and many, many others), a membership pool that respects each other and a culture that can actually get stuff done.

Quite a little accomplishment we've all been able to work out, if you ask me.

So again thanks for all the best wishes on the first 5,000 posts (and hopefully some of them were slightly useful) but please allow me to step aside and congratulate everyone else who truly makes this community what it is.

Ok guys, this thread has been moved in here from the CO forum. Firstly, congratulations to J. Edwards for his nice round number, and his contributions to FT ^

Secondly, there is a lot of chatter on here which is inappropriate for the forum that it is now in - so I've removed that.

Thirdly, I'll leave it for a few days, and then merge it into our master 5k post thread...
