A few other FTers and myself have gotten in on a great fare to LHR ex-ORD towards the end of september. Will anybody be in London around the dates of 9/25-9/29ish? Post your dates here (including you London locals!) and let's figure out what date will work best for everybody. Looking forward to seeing London for the first time as I know some others are!

I'd join you lot, but I'm headed to the SQTalk VIE Do that weekend.

I will arrive LHR on Thursday Sept 25. InsideThePlane will be arriving either the 25th or the 26th. We'll be in town until Monday morning (if I remember correctly). Any local Londoners that would like to join us or advise us what/where we should go?

I'm not sure exactly where I'll be, but won't rule this out completely. If it's cheaper than THF DO and Villach, I'd be happy to meet up.

I will be in London 9/26 - 9/29, staying at Sheraton Park Towers.

I'm in at 10:00 pm on Friday the 26th. I know Halothane is in LHR on the
25th as we're planning to meet up when I get in.

As this is my first time to London, I don't really know where the Sheraton is but I'm staying at Marriott County Hall. Halothane is there as well.

I'm back to ORD on Sunday the 28th. I think Halothane is off to Paris on the 29th. Anyone else? I'd be up for meeting for a pint somewhere if the logistics work.

We're on the same ORD-IAD-LHR flights on 9/26.

From Google Maps, it looks like you're close to the Charing Cross tube stop and I'm close to the Knightsbridge tube stop. About 1.8 miles apart.

Any thoughts on a meet-up? Miss Redbeard and I are going to the theatre for a Saturday matinee, but that night or Sunday night is free.

Saturday night sounds great to me. I'm pretty sure InsideThePlane would be game for Saturday night. Would love to meet up with some other FTers.

Thanks to Redbeard911 for suggesting the Globe at the Baker St tube stop. (Hopefully I got that right). I'm open to that for Saturday night and since the weekend is getting close if that's agreeable to anyone who might be in town and may be interested, let's move on to picking a time. Thoughts?

The Globe is easy to get to. Walk outside the Baker Street tube stop and there it is. It's a bit of a tourist area, but a good place to meet.

I'm completely good with whatever time works for everyone else. I'm back to ORD on Sunday so sleep between 10pm Friday and 4:00 on Sunday is optional.
