I had some vouchers burning a hole in my pocket so I went ahead and booked a nice weekend "mileage run" to LAX for June 6th - 7th. (red-eye return) :cool:

Would anyone like to get together for dinner / drinks on the 6th or 7th?

Sounds good. I am planning on staying near Hermosa Beach anyways so that works out well. :)

It's a really nice place and you cant beat the price either.

We decided on a Italian cafe called Ugo in Culver City at 7pm. SS255 recommended it :)

BUT: on a Saturday night????

Would be glad to check out other locations (Italian) in the area.......

I only go there for lunch during the week, and it's always crowded. What do I know? I guess you could say my perspective is somewhat....skewed. :D

If you could recommend another restaurant in the area with better atmosphere for a Saturday night, do tell! You and Mr. Delacpa are the "true" locals! ;)

FYI...I suggested Culver City because halfway between where I live and LAX.
