FLL Lunch Saturday May 17th - Cuban?

I'm in town for ~5hrs on an MR and want to get some decent food. I've been looking around on yelp and can't decide between trying one of these two:

Las Vegas Cuban
Punta del Este

Both are less than 7 miles from the airport, and look like they could be good.

I am arriving on AA568 at 1030, and departing on AA877 at 1545. Any takers out there for a Saturday lunch?

If you want the best Cuban restaurant in Broward County, go to Padrino's!

The original Padrino's on E. Hallandale Beach Blvd, is closer to the airport than the one in Plantation (and likely even better).

Oh yes, I know where the cuban restaurant is but, it was near my brother's apartment in E. Hallandale Beach Blvd. When we ate lunch from my previously trip to FLL. I certainly remember when my brother & I were ate at Cuban buffet but, it was delicious food. Why you don't go out to the Cuban Restaurant instead in Plantation. Because it was very closer to A1A near the beaches. If you want go to Cuban food but, they have chicken, beef, rice and vegetable, too.

Where's this Cuban buffet located? Or is that the same as Padrino's?

Unfortunately, although it takes little prodding to get me to a Cuban restaurant (especially that Cuban restaurant), I will be 1000 miles away from FLL this Saturday.

Do try to get there. I am sure that you will have a very nice lunch. ^

Yes, I think so. I believe it was Cuban restaurant is in E. Hallandale Beach Blvd near Three Island Rd close to Wal-Mart. Just take on E. Hallandale Beach Blvd but, you have to stay on right side where you can see Cuban restaurant right next to shopping center.

Its going to be La Granja

Rick suggested hitting up La Granja, as its closer to FLL and still really good. So anyone up for some Peruvian? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like we're going to be at the one on 4810 S State Road in Davie. Time is TBD tomorrow, but I would say 1130 or noon till when I need to go?

Oh yes, I know where it is. It is in 441 near Griffin Rd. I certainly remember where the restaurant are but, I am usually lived in Florida for 24 years since I came to Florida in years of 1979. If you crossing over the I-595 from FLL airports all the way to I-75. That's why I am no longer where we lives there in FLL. Go ahead to do that your choose a good restaurant where you can eat lunch or dinners times.

The event has already passed

But since it was bumped, I just want to say it was a pleasure to have met cstead. Just like the typical FT'er, we were discussing the aviation world non-stop!

And now I have another FT'er to add to the list
