Same here ...

Myself and To Market To Market will be there; tickets booked.

Hmmm.. most Hilton Properties around Mid-Town are showing no availability for that night.

Or Long Island City in Queens. Right after 59th street bridge you find a Comfort Inn. Stayed there for the SAS Do. Real easy to get to/from Manhattan, only one subway stop away

BRT #8 hits a bump in the road

Revised post down below. This post is yesterdays news.

Ah yes. Looks like Santa is smart too!

I'm working on the list right now. You want to know the good news, or the bad news?

The bad news is that I have over 30 people signed up (for 25 seats).
The good news is that I'll contact a bus company to check on finally getting a real tour bus.

For those of you have have been on the tour before, and haven't purchased your airline tickets to New York yet, please hold off for the time being. The BRT doesn't give any compensation for overbooking. If I can't get a full size coach bus, we'll have to work something out.

Or, maybe Canarsie and Meducate can handle the overflow in another bus. @:-)

Stand by.

Dan, what's preventing us from accommodating everyone? The lack of space in the tour bus?

If all you need is an extra driver, I'll volunteer. Plus, I was raised in CGK and you know the saying "if you can drive well in Jakarta, you can drive anywhere else in the world"

And I'm sure few others will be glad to volunteer also.

In 2 days the thing sold out;

Here is hoping for BRT 2009. @:-)

Hi! I finally got my computer working. I have been reading but not able to post. I am excited that the tour is in June and the weather will be nice. Things might look different than April.

I already have "booked" the dates with my son. dawn

Dark clouds = Silver lining

Last night, I finally had a chance to look through all mypms. Seems that I promised seats to a few additional people, over and above what the van can handle.

Last nights panic, has turned into a morning, take charge approach.
Several years back, I talked about getting a real 50 passenger coach bus for the tour. Well, looks like dreams do come true.

After some research, I've found a bus company or 2 that actually has reasonable prices. So, based on 40 passengers on the BRT, we may be able to do this at a cost = to last year, give or take a dollar or 2.

Sorry for all the drama.
The BRT is usually devoid of drama.

Since last night, I did receive 1 pm that was a little less than flattering. The written word sometimes can be mis-read. I hope that was the case.

Paypal instructions to follow.

Sorry -- I was only trying to make my thoughts on the choice of the pizza stop clearer. You know how New Yorkers are about pizza
