Some good hotel deals here... http://www.hotels.com/dealFinderSear...when=&x=13&y=2
I'll catch up with this thread over the weekend. Please don't purchase your tickets until I sort through the wait list.
Thanks.

Nothing great yet, but I've been watching. Cheapest I've seen so far is non-refundable at the W NY or at the Sheratons for $199/nt if staying Fri - Mon (GENDRE_H / Z3H 3rd-night-free rate with price quoted here after discount). I'm thinking that something better will come up, though, and not everyone is staying 3 nights.
But those are the nights that Mrs. SC Flier and I are leaning toward so that we can attend both the BRT and the Wine DO. I'm also hoping to see my preferred airline itinerary drop back down so we don't have to drive up to CLT for our flight.
dhammer53, a PM will be on its way momentarily to reconfirm!

Finally...
a reason to use that Metrocard I bought at the old rate
Just let me know whether to head up to GCT in the AM
or sleep in and later trek across the great East River to join y'all for dinner.
either which way, looking forward to a great Kings County adventure!

Just thought I would mention that the (in)famous Brooklyn Reality Tour guide has traditionally attended the Palm Springs Gayla DO: http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=760957
With an enthusiastic endorsement from Mister BRT himself, how can one go wrong?

As I mentioned before... if NYC is overpriced you could try Jersey City... just a 15-20 minute Path Ride over to NYC.
The closest Hilton property is teh Doubletree Suites at Newport. There's also a Hyatt and Courtyard (next year the Westin opens.)
