chrissxb called me via telephone to inform me of this idea before he posted it.

I must admit, this is definitely an obscure place to visit.

I believe it would be enlightening for all who visit. It is nuclear to me that everyone will leave this tour all radiant and glowing.

Please add me as a maybe.

What do toucans have to do with this?...

...and what are you going to do with the string to those poor toucans?

The Chernobyl museum in Kiev is pretty interesting. If I'd have had more time during my visit I would have taken the day trip out to Chernobyl itself. There is a lot to see and do in Kiev, by the way. I'm interested but can't commit.

Great follow-up to ELP/White Sands/Trinity. ^^

Perhaps this would be part two of the Tour d' Nuclear?
Or, extreme medical tourism (per jfe)?

Wikipedia describes DO attendees:The population also includes some vagabonds and other marginalized persons from the outside world.

Count me not very interested since Southwest doesn't fly there for $39.

Does this mean we will do next year at the Nevada Test Site and Area 51?

I think I'm still glowing from all of my trips past the nuclear waste dump in Beatty, Nevada on the road from Las Vegas to Reno and that was over 25 years ago!

What, you couldn't get us a group rate at the Siberia Hilton or the Intercontinental Tehran?

Do not give chrissxb any ideas.

Trust me on this one...I have personal experience, such as when I uttered the name Slovenia while we were in Mexico, for example...
