It's just that 6969=88

88 is not funny at all, it has quite a meaning!

I'm sure that's not what Gargoyle meant. I think Gargoyle meant if you place a 6 on top of a 9, with the two circles created, it can look like an 8 - and that's why it was a fun number.

I think Gargoyle meant something entirely different ;)

But which is better... 77 or 88?

I'd never heard that reference. I was thinking of a different one, wherein 88 is just another way of saying 69. (ate-e-ate)
