Dang - miss this one by a day also :(

A few FTers are looking into dinner and drinks in AKL 22 January. Time and venue to be determined.

24th JAN evening is also possible. :)

I'm around and will make myself free for this (apart from being on call for work). Look forward to it

A rain check.....

I'd be very keen, but our sea freight arrives that day and I'll be like a little kid at Xmas opening 97 boxes from BKK, and carrying them to where my wife and kids want/need them. Dinner with FTers would not go down well....

szg, when on 25th are you departing? I could make the evening of 25th...

Have fun! Cheers, TK

I will depart on the 26th Jan.

So, the 25th Jan should be fine for everybody.

You all have PM.

Thanks. I might, just, be able to make this, although our sea freight is being delivered that day...whoops - the day before! Even better.

Can I suggest jswong or WLG Base (or any other current WLG FTer) suggest a start place/time for drinks and/or dinner? I can stay in town after work, so drinks from 1800 (or whenever) suits well.

[this message updates my PM response]

Cheers, TK

Thanks, WLG Base for organizing and thanks to Thai-Kiwi for meeting me at the IC. ^

We will meet at the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club in the Bar downstairs at 6pm on Friday 25 Jan.

Thanks for the nice evening. ^

Yes, very pleasant, although the mixed grill was a very large size indeed!

Thanks to WLG base for hosting us the Yatch Club - very nice venue, and jswong for his knowledge of drinks venues prior to dinner.

A very pleasant night out... and good luck to Freddy too!

Cheers, T-K

PS - I missed the last bus home...
