Abbreviations
 

Is there a place where one can find a list of abbreviations you folks use and what they mean? I can find airport codes, but some of the others are mystifying.

A lot of the terms we use are airline specific, so many of the individual forums will have their own sticky with terms specific to that airline. What airline do you mostly fly?

We do have this glossary for FT in general, which may be helpful.

Also there is an airport look up option at the bottom of the QuickLinks pull down menu - it's available near the top of your screen.

Airline codes are frequently used here, so the Airline Designator / Code Database Search can be very helpful - just put the two letter abbreviation in the "IATA-Code:" box.
