Last night, I gave my phone number to three smokin' hot babes...and not one of them called. What are the chances they all called at once and jammed the lines?
One in a billion.
I guess I'm having the same experience...Going the Extra Mile comes up, but won't play.

Can anybody post a link to the broadcast this morning that actually loads and works??
The lame-o networks wonder why they are turning into dinosaurs at a rapid rate. Perhaps one reason is that they can't publish their content in a manner that can be viewed by those of us who get our entire news content via the Internet.

They pulled the segment off the page, probably because they loaded it wrong.
Unless somebody got it to work and saved it It's no longer there on the page.

EDIT: Sorry, I fell asleep waiting and IE crashed (Firefox wouldn't work with their uploader tool), so I forgot about it when I woke up.
Good news is it did upload: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzwyrwBaZjs

very interesting reading the rather scathing comments below the story on the cbs page- i think what the story missed illuminating about mileage runs (at least for me) is that
a) the cost of the upside of status is usually cheaper or the same price as not getting the status (miles, reduced fees, etc.) and the biggest upside throughout the year is time and comfort - i can't tell you how many times i've been able to get on a better flight that got me home earlier or cheaper than it would have without status. I'd rather take a useless, cheap flight to nowhere when I have the time than be stuck in the middle of the standby list with no hope of getting the last seat out when I have business to do.
b) people who do mileage runs enjoy travel - you wouldn't hear these same commentors being so judgemental about a group of train entusiasts or cruise enthusiasts taking a trip to nowhere just to enjoy the ride or a nice dinner and some drinks
c) while i do feel guily about the environmental damage flying causes, most mileage runs are done specifically for cheap seats and often at odd times and weekends - wouldn't the business person or family of 6 needing to take a specific flight have more of an impact on airlines actually adding flights to the schedule?

WHY?? Whether or not YOU are on a given aircraft, it's gonna go if it's scheduled. MR's do not have an incremental negative impact on the environment.
NO. The same issue as above. These ridiculous comment on the CBS website reflect very little other than a complete lack of understanding of airline economics.
