Tucson Sept. 18 - 28

Will be in Tucson from Sept. 18 - 28, with a short trip to SAN. Would like to meet FT's if possible. If not this time then next time.

I don't usually know my schedule that far in advance but I should be around at some point during that time. I'll watch this thread for updates.

Time for a update

Have heard from retirementdreams and he would like to attend. What works better for those that would attend, coffee (AM) or drinks and maybe dinner(PM) Sept. 21 -23?

edlin303 Sep 7, 2007 3:19 pm

lunch/dinner/drinks is probably better for me. I think I'm in town all of those days. Are we going to target a restaurant that does iDine (in the true FT spirit)? ;-)

chefcaw Sep 7, 2007 5:32 pm

Absolutely, do you have a suggestion? We like Zona but is leaving the program, so not there.

I'm always a fan of El Minuto or Casablanca. Both are part of idine (and walking distance for me). Not sure where I'll be yet but I would like to attend if I can.

I've never been to either, so I'm willing to try.

I haven't seen any firmer dates listed yet, so I'll toss some out. For me, weekends are better, so what does everyone think about the afternoon on the 22nd, or the late afternoon/evening of the 23rd?

Received a pm from Viajero Joven, a weekday would work best for him. The 18th works best for me. What about drinks and/or dinner at either restaurant on the 18th?

Hello TUS FTrs

I don't mean to elbow my way in but would be interested in meeting with fellow FTrs in the TUS area.
Please keep me in mind for any events.

Tucson Mileage Run seminar 10/20

Hi all,

We've been kicking around ideas for a short while but nothing definitive has been set up--- let's try to figure out something!

Very separately, based on some talk here ut more talk in a different thread, I am planning to do a Mileage Run Seminar (back by popular demand)-- here in TUS on Sat. Oct. 20. I want to make sure I give folks enough time to plan their travel to here with advance purchase, etc., and also allow enough time before the end of the year for folks to plan trips that will bring them to their elite status targets. So......

Mileage Run 101 Seminar (to be confirmed within 48 hours of this post)
Tucson, AZ
Sat. Oct. 20
10am to 5pm, more or less
exact location TBA

Topics: this will be a 101, meaning I will cover fundamentals that apply to all major airlines/partnerships.

RSVP to be set up once all is confirmed.

Thoughts??

Ok let's firm up the date for next week. Cast your vote for with the evening of the 18th or the evening of the 23rd. We could pick the date that works for the majority.

I pick the 18th .

Rocket Scientist Sep 17, 2007 7:20 pm

I can meet either night but the 18th is better.

Viajero Joven Sep 18, 2007 2:59 am

The only possible hole in my schedule is 6:30-8pm tomorrow (the 18th)--- think you may want to meet somewhere next to campus?

Rocket Scientist Sep 18, 2007 7:55 am

I am definately up to a meeting on the 18th near the campus. Please let me know when and where if we are still on.

Viajero Joven Sep 18, 2007 10:23 am

For lack of a better idea (and due to my limited knowledge of the area)-- umm.... Frog and Firkin? 874 E. University, phone 623-7507
