Couscous is relocating to Paris

I accepted a job transfer to Paris today.. After 15 years in the Bay Area, it's time to go back home ! My new assignment will increase dramatically my travel schedule as I will have worldwide responsabilities for clients relations.
Now the question is, which airline I am going to fly with ? I have been extremely loyal to UA but might need to change due to regular travel to several countries in Western Africa, South America, New Caledonia, Sakhalin islands.. AF here I come !!

Congratulations! The job and the city both sound great. Enjoy your return to your home country.

couscous: I'm sad to lose a neighbor, but happy that you will be returning to your native France. Even if it means that you'll be switching to AF for your flying (ugh!) :D
Bon chance, ami, et au revoir!

congrats on the new postion ^ and best wishes to you and mme. couscous! looks like i have to find another bay area f/t'er who can put up with my horrible french ;).

will you be in paris itself? the reason i ask is that my cousin (he's the crazy one ^) and his family live in the 16ieme along with others in neuilly sur siene and i'd be happy to share their address with you

Best wishes to you on your new endeavor.

Perhaps we could plan an au revoir dinner in your honor?

Sounds like you might work in the oil industry, if so you might want to consider joining the Air France Petroleum club. I would recommend keeping a United States address to have lower requirements for elite status on Air France.

I just moved to the 15th Arrondissement, so if you are up for a drink sometime, let me know.

Cheers,

Timo

Je suis aussi triste that you will be leaving the Bay Area, mais felicitations a Paris!

When will you be leaving? Will we have a chance to say farewell? Of course, it won't REALLY be farewell, as we FlyerTalkers do get around. @:-) In fact, maybe some of us will actually see you MORE often once you relocate! :D

Anyhow, bonne chance with your relocation and new job assignment! ^

Congratulations on returning to civilization!

I live in France and I'm still a UA 1K. And an AF Platinum. And soon to be a BA Gold. Share the wealth I say.

Bon chance et courage!
