And a very special thank you to cawhite, jjpb3, Jubilee777, ws8n, StarG, MovieMan, TGflyergirl, and sailaway75 for the birthday card you signed during Bali Do 2006 and posted to me at The Chedi. It was very unexpected and most touching.

It was wonderful to meet TGflyergirl, and to see again KiwiFlyer, MovieMan, and Jubilee777 at the Singapore SKL on Friday morning May 26th. MovieMan's suggestion on champers to add a sparkle to our day was quite well-timed and certainly hit the spot. SKL was a near-perfect place to rest, relax, refresh, and chat with fellow FlyerTalkers after a long but wonderful journey from the United States (near-perfect only in the sense that it needs a better view of the ramp to see the flock of Golden Geese outside; maybe in T3. hint hint SQ). Though you all certainly looked prime and ready for an enjoyable time in Bali that morning, and it would have been great to go along with you, I knew Mr. Megatop and I would be along soon, and pampered in the meantime in Bangkok, so all was well.

Hopefully we'll see one another again sooner rather than later.

Just DON'T TEMPT ME for SIN Run 2007-that'd be crazy for a weekender just 8 days after leaving Singapore, but a little arm-twisting....

Just saw this thread now after getting back from my birthday trip to Asia. :D Had an excellent time in HKT, BKK, and KUL with Mr. Megatop.

And even got to see CGK for a drinky drink at the SKL in SIN. :D
