Yes, at the end of February, with a NW weather waiver no less, my first of the winter. I hope to get back for a few days sometime this summer. In the meantime, I am commuting to Pasadena with Mrs. BNA_flyer on a weekly basis, which is nice. :)

I was just there but couldn't find any of you. I twice asked at the reception desk but they didn't know anything about it. I even walked around the room looking for clues the folks there might be frequent flyers but found none. I stayed from 7:05 to 7:30 and then left. I thought I had the wrong night, or the wrong place.

Oh, dammit! We were there, kind of tucked in the middle on the back side of the bar. When I arrived at just before 7, everyone that confirmed was already there and I just joined them. I assumed they already left the FT name with the desk. :(

Now I feel really bad...

I'll tell you what: to make it up to you, if you'd like to join us for another one, you can set the time and place and we'll show up. Then if you want to no-show to get us back, it's fair :) But seriously, we always have such a difficult time deciding on a location as it is and we need someone to tell us where to meet. Please give us another chance.

Again, really sorry...and here I was talking at dinner about wanting to meet more local MSP folks... :( :(

It's OK, SchmutzigMSP, I've recovered from the sting of being jilted. I seriously thought that I was the idiot, and that I'd copied it to my schedule for the wrong month. I feel at least vindicated that I didn't make that dumb error. At least I didn't fly here for it!

If there's another, I'll try to come. But next time I'm going to get a description of what you folks look like and maybe have the host or hostess make an announcement over the PA requesting the "Flyertalk table".

I came out last night at 8 pm . . . the hostess said somebody else had come before me asking for Flyertalk and left, cause they didn't know. I wanted to meet my sparring partner, Schmutzig! I'm afraid I wouldn't have been in top form last night though, as I had just gotten in from Bangkok, got to the house at 6:45 and grabbed a shower. I wanted to stay awake a few more hours so I could sleep through to the morning, so I went out to the meet. At least that Joe Sensors' Turkey Sandwich seems to have done the trick! I slept until 7 this morning!
